Non-Medicare patients - see fees above. If you have insurance it may offer the same rebate as Medicare. An invoice will be provided for claiming with your health insurance company.

*Medicare rebates may be higher for Mental Health & Chronic Disease Management Plans and Reviews - in these cases the out of pocket expense will be as shown above.

Our reception team will process your Medicare rebate and are happy to provide a printed invoice. Medicare typically takes 2 to 3 work days to deposit the rebate into the bank account you have nominated.

Telehealth appointments

There is a private fee for Telehealth appointments. Pricing is listed above.

Please book these appointments by calling the clinic during office hours. Prepayment will be taken over the phone at the time of booking via credit or debit card.

The Telehealth appointments are limited to these medical circumstances:

  • simple medical certificate - this is only for patients with a clear mild cold/flu/COVID symptoms

    • If there is any doubt regarding the diagnosis or severity, please book an In-Clinic Standard appointment

    • All other medical problems will require an In-Clinic Standard appointment for a medical certificate

  • simple repeat scripts (for chronic medical conditions only)

  • for a copy of normal pathology/imaging results

  • All other appointments need to be In-ClinicLate cancellation / non-attendance fee.

To qualify for a Telehealth Medicare rebate, the patients needs to satisfy the following 3 criteria:

  1. Existing patients of the clinic and

  2. Hold a current Medicare card and

  3. Have seen our doctor face to face in the last 12 months.

  • If you are unsure if you qualify under the 12 month rule, you can use your Medicare Express Plus app to view your Medicare Claim History and find the date of your last in-clinic appointment.

Late cancellation / non-attendance fee.

We require a minimum 2 hr notice of appointment time changes. If that is not provided, or the appointment is not attended, a $40 fee will be charged.

Account settlement

Appointment fees to be settled at the conclusion of each appointment by the patient. Payment can be made with cash, EFTPOS or credit card (Visa or Master Card).

Prescriptions

The cost of a printed prescription handed to patients during an in-clinic appointment and eScripts for both in-clinic and Telehealth patients is covered by the consultation cost. If the patient requests something different - eg an emailed or faxed script, then there will be a $10 fee to cover the cost of handling, postage and/or long term storage of the script.

Medical reports, results and certificates

Reports, results and certificates printed or emailed during a medical consult are included in the consult fee. If you forgot to ask for a report during the consultation, ask for it during your next consultation and it will be provided at no extra cost. If you require any of these items outside a medical consult, there will be an administrative fee. That fee will depend on the amount of work required to prepare the report. The minimum fee is $20.

After hour appointments

Patients who arrive after our regular hours will be billed privately. If you require one of these appointments, please contact the clinic during our regular hours.

Spot Check Skin Clinic

Spot Check Skin Clinic is co-located in the same premises but is a private billing clinic. Refer to their website for details on services and fees.

Vaccination Cost

The cost of being vaccinated has two components - cost for vaccine to be administered plus the cost of the vaccine

  1. Fee for the doctor to administer a vaccine

    • Appointment fees are listed above. Childhood vaccinations will need a longer appointment and should be booked as Standard Appointments.

  2. Cost of the vaccine

    • Some patients may be eligible for government funded vaccines. For up-to-date eligibility details refer to the latest Immunisation schedule Victoria on the VicHealth website

    • If you are not eligible for a government funded vaccine, the vaccines below are available at the clinic at the prices shown:

      • Flu vaccine (in-clinic) - $25 (ask for corporate flu pricing)

      • Chicken Pox - also called Varicella (Varivax) - $95

      • Hepatitis A (Havrix/Avaxim)- $70

      • Hepatitis B (Engerix-B) - $50

      • HPV (Gardasil 9) - $255

      • Measles + Mumps + Rubella (MMR/Priorix)- $55

      • Meningococcal B (Bexero) - $140

      • Meningococcal ACWY (Nimenrix) - $100

      • Polio (IPOL) - $65

      • Tetanus + Diphtheria + Whooping Cough (Boostrix/Adacel) - $60

      • Typhoid (Typhim VI) - $95

      • we currently do not hold any other vaccines at our clinic, but the doctor can write you a script for other vaccines.
